OEM Acura RLX Parts and Accessories

Select The Year Of Your Vehicle Below

The Acura RLX is a full-size luxury sedan that was introduced in 2013 as the successor to the Acura RL. Standard features on the base trim include 18-inch wheels, heated mirrors, LED daytime running lights and headlights, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Sport Hybrid trim comes with all of the above plus 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, and Brembo front brakes with brake torque vectoring control.

The RLX is available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive and is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 272 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and features precision all-wheel steer, which helps improve handling and stability.

OEM vs. Aftermarket Parts

When it's time to replace parts on your RLX or do some scheduled maintenance, you might wonder whether to go with OEM or aftermarket parts. "OEM" stands for "original equipment manufacturer," meaning the parts are made by the same company that made the original parts on your vehicle. Aftermarket parts are made by companies other than the vehicle's manufacturer.

Aftermarket parts are often less expensive than OEM parts. OEM parts, on the other hand, are often of higher quality because they meet the specific requirements of each model. In general, OEM parts will likely last longer and fit your vehicle better than aftermarket parts.
